On behalf of a key client, we are resourcing for an experienced Data Manager.

This is a permanent role and would look to start as soon as possible in this vibrant and lively office.

Role Overview

The Data Manager has accountability and control of the clients data across all sources.

The Data Manager is responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of data quality across all data

sources, through continuous and measurable improvement, via a commitment to identify and

resolve internal data processing and customer data issues.

The Data Manager must work closely with Marketing to ensure lead data management is

appropriately co-ordinated for campaigns including quality, accuracy, integrity, availability and


The Data Manager also has the responsibility of ensuring the legitimacy of data acquisition into

marketing solutions including data that is provided to clients, as well as ongoing compliance with

DPA, PECR and ICO Codes and guidance throughout the data lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the data relationship with strategic data providing organisations
  • Conduct internal and external data quality reviews
  • Identify key client data provision issues and provide solution guidance that meets industry, legislative and validation requirements
  • Establish and implement appropriate solutions and metrics for measuring all aspects of data asset quality
  • Define rules for internal processing improvements and support implementation
  • Work with internal stakeholders to co-ordinate tasks and the approach to acquire data from key organisations
  • Stakeholder on the definition of requirements and improvements for data management information and data projects
  • Data expert for internal teams on data provision, processing and validation rules and industrybest practice
  • Escalation point for any data issues
  • Own policies for data compliance - usage, access and retention
  • Support and develop links with all staff including support of training where required
  • Any other duties commensurate with the position


Core Resposibilities.

  • Experience of managing data compliance procedures
  • Experience of managing and working with complex data sources
  • Ability to manage multi-channel data workflows
  • Strong engagement and stakeholder management skills to adhere to governance procedures
  • Metric orientated
  • Experience and awareness of Data Protection, PECR and other applicable laws, regulations and guidance
  • Excellent comprehension, written and verbal communication skills at all levels
  • Experience of Salesforce (desirable)
