A leading utilities provider in the South West is looking for an OT Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance and optimisation of critical plant and control systems. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £35,000 - £43,000 plus excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform planned maintenance and respond to operational faults on instrumentation, SCADA, PLCs, and telemetry systems.
Troubleshoot complex on-site issues and contribute to small capital improvement projects.
Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to coordinate maintenance activities.
Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rota basis.
Support OT standards, technical compliance (e.g., UK NIS directive), and firmware/software updates.
Requirements:
Relevant qualifications in control systems, instrumentation, or a related field.
Experience with PLC programming and process control systems (Schneider preferred).
Strong IT skills and understanding of communication protocols.
Full UK driving licence and ability to obtain Security Clearance.
