Electrical Project Manager

Position Title: Electrical Project Manager / Engineer - Full-time
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000
Location: Wadebridge, Cornwall

Company background: This company designs, builds, and operates Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind Turbine renewable energy systems throughout the United Kingdom.

Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and organised Electrical Project Manager / Engineer to join our existing team working between both the office and our nationwide sites.

Responsibilities will include:
− High and Low Voltage installation work when required on all projects.
− Carryout planned and reactive maintenance when required on all sites.
− High and low Voltage electrical design, plant specification and liaising with subcontracted designers for High Voltage design.
− Completing analysis of site performance to make improvements to ongoing operation.
− Identifying, recording and responding to faults, with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
− Completing designs and reports.
− Reviewing and monitoring all asset managed renewable energy sites on a rota basis, including weekend cover

Essential Requirements: − City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
− Level 3 Technical and Vocational Qualification or Level 3 Diploma.
− BS7671 18th Edition
− Methodical, accurate and process focused approach.
− Excellent communication and organisational skills.
− Computer Literacy.
− Driving License.
− Flexibility for working throughout the UK, including evenings and weekend.

Desired Skills:
− High Voltage experience
−Experience of working in PV design installation and maintenance.
− Experience working with onshore wind.
− CAD experience.
−Experience in communications set-up and configuration.
−HV Authorised Person / Switching Course. - 18th Edition amendment 2.
