Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing business within the solar energy sector, supplying high-quality products and solutions to businesses across the UK. Known for their customer-first approach and strong industry reputation, they are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a dedicated Account Manager based at their office in Birmingham.


About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with 1-2 years' experience in wholesale or B2B account management to join a growing business in the renewable energy sector. You'll play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, managing inbound enquiries, processing sales orders, and ensuring smooth account operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for existing customers, ensuring high levels of service and support

  • Process and manage inbound orders accurately and efficiently

  • Maintain and update customer accounts, resolving any order or billing queries

  • Liaise with the finance team to follow up on outstanding payments and support credit control

  • Build rapport with repeat customers to encourage ongoing business

  • Provide product and service information to clients, working closely with internal teams to meet customer needs

  • Monitor account activity and ensure all administrative processes are completed in a timely manner


What We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years' experience in a wholesale or B2B sales/account management environment

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Highly organised with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Confident using order processing or CRM systems (training provided if needed)

  • Comfortable handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally

  • A proactive and reliable team player with a positive attitude

  • An interest in the renewable energy or solar sector is a bonus
