Job Title: After Sales Support Engineer
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Location: South West England - with UK and international travel required
Overview:
An established and growing UK-based engineering and manufacturing business is looking for an experienced After Sales Support Engineer to join their service team. The role focuses on providing high-quality technical support for agricultural machinery, working both remotely and on-site in the UK and abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver remote technical support to customers, engineers, and the internal sales team
Carry out site visits to investigate and resolve machine performance issues
Diagnose and document solutions to technical problems
Manage warranty processes including reporting and part returns
Deliver training sessions to dealer service staff (on-site, remotely, or at dealer premises)
Assist with the continuous improvement of support procedures and materials
Ideal Candidate Profile:
This role is well suited to someone with:
Strong background in servicing and repairing agricultural or land-based machinery
Familiarity with agricultural practices and equipment
Good communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and team members
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic computer literacy
Ability to work independently and manage their own schedule
A proactive and team-oriented mindset
Full UK driving licence and valid passport
