A key client of ours are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join their team working on high-impact government data initiatives. From tracking small boat arrivals to monitoring parolees with electronic tags, you'll help transform complex datasets into meaningful insights that inform public policy and operational decision-making.
🔧 Tech Stack You'll Work With:
- Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, etc.)
- Databricks
- Power BI
🧠 What You'll Be Doing:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions in Azure.
- Collaborating with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Working with sensitive, high-value data to support operational use cases in border security and criminal justice.
✅ What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience building and managing data workflows in Azure.
- Proficiency in Databricks and Power BI.
- Ability to work with sensitive data in secure environments.
- Previous experience in public sector projects is a bonus, but not essential.
- SC clearance is not required, but you should be eligible to undergo vetting if needed.
- Although the role is remote you must be basd in the UK.
