Security Solutions Architect
UK | Full Time | Hybrid
£50,000 - £70,000 + Bonus
A growing UK technology services provider is looking to add a Security Solutions Architect to its Solutions Engineering team.
This is a client-facing, pre-sales focused role, working closely with sales and technical teams to design, position, and present modern cybersecurity solutions. You'll help customers understand their security risks and translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused recommendations.
You'll be involved across the full pre-sales lifecycle - from discovery and solution design through to demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and proposals - acting as a trusted security adviser to customers.
Key responsibilities
Deliver chargeable and non-chargeable security pre-sales services
Support sales during customer meetings, discovery sessions, and qualification
Design and present security solutions aligned to customer requirements
Deliver engaging product demonstrations, workshops, and webinars
Build and run Proofs of Concept (POCs)
Evaluate and position solutions against competing technologies
Contribute to proposals, scopes of work, and tender responses
Experience required
Pre-sales, technical consultancy, or customer-facing delivery experience within an MSP or IT reseller
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT infrastructure
Experience with security technologies such as Sophos, Fortinet, N-able, Mimecast, Barracuda, or similar
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
Commercially aware with strong stakeholder engagement skills
Well organised with excellent time management
UK-based, willing to travel as required
Full, clean UK driving licence
