Data Scientist
On behalf of a key cleint we are resourcign for a Data Scientists who thrives on solving complex problems with data. In this role, you'll be working end-to-end on the data lifecycle - sourcing, transforming, modelling, and visualising - to deliver insights that drive smarter decision-making.
What you'll be doing
Sourcing and managing data from open and commercial providers
Handling licensing considerations to ensure compliant use of data
Building and maintaining full ETL pipelines
Managing data across its full lifecycle
Developing predictive models and data-driven solutions
Creating impactful visualisations and presenting insights to stakeholders
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed data-driven decision making
What we're looking for
Strong experience with Jupyter notebooks (Python)
Knowledge of Azure Data Factory (desirable)
Familiarity with document databases (Cosmos DB) and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
Experience with spatial data analysis and storage (QGIS/PostGIS desirable)
Solid background in statistics, data science, and data analysis
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Bonus: experience in C# .NET
