We are currently seeking an experienced Disrepair / Damp / Mould Specialist to join a reputable housing organisation based in Northamptonshire. This is an initial 4-month contract with strong potential to become permanent, depending on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and manage reports of property disrepair, with a focus on damp and mould issues
- Liaise with tenants, surveyors, and contractors to coordinate inspections and remedial works
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and housing standards
- Provide detailed reports and updates to internal teams and stakeholders
- Contribute to long-term strategies to prevent recurring issues
Requirements:
- Proven experience in dealing with housing disrepair, particularly damp and mould
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and housing standards
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
