ERP Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Location: UK - Remote/Hybrid (Client Site Travel Required)
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 DOE + Benefits

My client, a long-established Microsoft Gold Partner, is currently seeking an experienced ERP Consultant to join their growing team. Specialising in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related Microsoft Business Applications, this is an exciting opportunity to work in a varied and impactful role across multiple industries.
This is a client-facing position that spans the full project lifecycle-from pre-sales through delivery, go-live, and ongoing support. You'll be working on full-scale ERP implementations, primarily within the manufacturing and distribution sectors, and collaborating with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver best-in-class solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with pre-sales activities, including demos and requirement gathering
Plan and deliver full Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations to agreed scope and budget
Conduct client workshops, perform gap-fit analysis, and provide functional solution design
Configure and set up ERP applications
Create functional documentation, including system/user guides
Deliver user training, including "train the trainer" sessions
Design and execute data migration and testing strategies
Provide post-implementation support
Ideal Experience & Technical Skills:
Proven experience in ERP implementation (preferably Dynamics NAV/Business Central, versions 2016 onwards)
Strong understanding of manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, and financial operations
Familiarity with other ERP systems (e.g. Sage, Merlin, Orderwise, STL) is advantageous
Experience leading projects and acting as a lead consultant
Knowledge of CRM, Business Intelligence tools, and project management software (e.g. Jira, MS Project)
Candidate Profile:
Client-facing, confident communicator, with strong interpersonal skills
Able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
Resourceful, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
Excellent time and workload management skills
Strong attention to detail and documentation
Prior experience conducting software demonstrations is a bonus
Preferred Requirements:
3+ years ERP implementation experience
1+ year working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or D365 Business Central
Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience
