Modern Workplace Team Leader

We're looking for a Modern Workplace Team Leader to take ownership of the design, delivery, and optimisation of Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace technologies across the organisation.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide a team of Modern Workplace Specialists, champion best practices in cloud adoption, collaboration, and security, and play a key part in shaping the future of how our people connect and work.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop the Modern Workplace team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and support of Microsoft 365 solutions including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Manage and optimise device and endpoint management via Intune, Autopilot, Samsung Knox, and Apple Business Manager.
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Coordinate Modern Workplace projects, migrations, and upgrades, managing change effectively and engaging with stakeholders.
- Drive cloud security and compliance initiatives across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks.
- Promote collaboration and productivity solutions, championing adoption of new tools and features.
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across the business, translating technical requirements into practical outcomes.
- Ensure documentation, training, and processes are up to date, consistent, and user-focused.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience leading a Modern Workplace, Microsoft 365, or cloud-focused team.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Azure services, and modern endpoint management tools.
- Solid background in project management, stakeholder engagement, and service delivery.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills - able to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. Modern Desktop Administrator, Teams Admin, or Security Admin) are highly desirable.
