Project Engineer - Marine & Offshore Construction

UK | Offshore & Site Based | Permanent

We are working with a leading UK marine organisation with an integrated fleet and in-house delivery capability. The business operates across marine civil engineering, offshore construction, and wet renewables, with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects.

They are now looking to appoint a Project Engineer to support delivery of complex marine and offshore works from early planning through execution and close-out.

The Role

  • Support marine and offshore projects from tender to completion

  • Produce and review engineering documentation (methodologies, RAMS, drawings, lift plans)

  • Provide engineering support to vessels and site teams during mobilisation and offshore works

  • Assist with construction planning, sequencing, and equipment selection

  • Interface with project managers, vessel crews, subcontractors, and clients

Experience Required

  • Engineering degree (or equivalent)

  • Experience in a Project Engineer or similar delivery role

  • Exposure to marine construction or offshore operations

  • Comfortable working across office, site, and offshore environments

  • Strong communication and practical problem-solving skills

Desirable Exposure

  • Marine civils, heavy lift, or nearshore works

  • Subsea cables or offshore energy projects

  • Working with specialist vessels or marine spreads
