🌍 Project Manager - Large-Scale Ground Mount Solar PV | Exeter 🌍

Day Rate: Excellent / Competitive (Outside IR35)
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a high-profile ground mount solar PV project in Cardiff. This is a 6-month contract (outside IR35) working on a major renewable energy development that will help power a cleaner, more sustainable future.
🚀 Role Overview:
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle from planning through to final handover. This includes coordination across multiple disciplines, ensuring that key milestones are hit, and the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
🛠 Key Responsibilities:
Lead project delivery for a multi-megawatt ground-mounted solar farm
Manage cross-functional teams including engineering, civils, and electrical subcontractors
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk registers
Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and HSE standards
Report progress to senior stakeholders and facilitate client communication
Oversee procurement, quality control, and commissioning activities
✅ Required Experience:
Proven track record managing multiple utility-scale solar PV projects in the UK
Strong technical understanding of solar design, construction, and commissioning
Excellent stakeholder and team management skills
Relevant qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, APMP, or similar desirable)
SMSTS or similar site safety training a plus
