About the Role
I am currently working with a fantastic clinet who are seeking a motivated SAP FICO & PS Consultant to join a well-established RunSAP team and play a key role in supporting BAU activities across multiple customers.
A significant focus of this role will be supporting Project Systems (PS), so you will need to demonstrate strong knowledge of PS configuration, operational processes, and a proven track record of hands-on support in this area.
Alongside PS, you should bring experience across some of the following SAP FICO modules:
- Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting
- Bank Accounting
- Cost Centre Accounting
- Product Costing
- Profit Centre Accounting
Experience in Treasury Management or Fiori will also be considered a strong advantage.
What You'll Be Doing
- Working closely with a varied customer base to provide advice, configuration support, and guidance around FICO business processes.
- Collaborating with client teams to resolve issues, deliver solutions, and meet contractual obligations.
- Building effective relationships to deliver excellent customer service.
- Supporting customer change initiatives by:
- Gathering and analysing requirements, and defining/designing solutions.
- Translating requirements into estimates, functional specifications, and detailed SAP configuration.
- Working alongside technical teams on ABAP changes, security requirements, and integration points.
- Creating and executing comprehensive test plans.
- Supporting cutover/implementation planning and knowledge transfer.
- Getting involved in short-term projects where FICO expertise is required.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a SAP FICO Consultant.
- Excellent knowledge of FICO configuration and development, including ABAP enhancements.
- Strong understanding of FICO-related business processes.
- Hands-on experience in functional testing, SIT, and defect management.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with sound decision-making skills.
- Strong personal organisation and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, managing workload to meet tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with S/4HANA and knowledge of SAP integration points (MM, SD, etc.) advantageous.
Nice to Have
- SAP Certification, or a willingness to pursue certification (with support provided).
