We're working on behalf of a dynamic and growing business that's looking to hire two experienced Senior PHP / Laravel Developers to strengthen their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level developer who enjoys building high-quality software, influencing technical decisions, and mentoring others in a collaborative environment.

The Role
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll take a leading role in the design, development, and ongoing improvement of customer-facing and internal web applications. You'll work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions, while also supporting best practices and technical standards across the team.
You'll remain hands-on with code while contributing to architectural decisions, performance improvements, and mentoring junior developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of new features and enhancements across multiple web applications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to turn business requirements into production-ready solutions
- Contribute to system architecture, code quality, and technical best practices
- Improve performance, scalability, and security across existing platforms
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive effective resolutions
- Take part in sprint planning, estimation, and technical decision-making
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers
- Review code and encourage clean, maintainable development practices
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with PHP (OOP), ideally using Laravel (Symfony also considered)
- Solid full-stack experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working with React (Vue knowledge beneficial)
- Strong understanding of MySQL or other relational databases
- Experience working in cloud-hosted environments
- Confident using Git and modern development workflows
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage workload independently and take ownership of deliverables
- Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally
Desirable
- Experience mentoring or leading other developers
- Exposure to performance optimisation and scalable system design
