The Opportunity
Our client is a respected, multi-disciplinary M&E consultancy delivering innovative and energy-efficient building services solutions across sectors including education, healthcare, residential, and commercial.
As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Building Services Design Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a technically driven environment with strong mentorship and exposure to varied, sustainable projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Design and coordination of mechanical and/or electrical building services
Involvement across full RIBA stages (1-4)
Production of detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications using industry software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, Hevacomp, etc.)
Collaboration with clients, architects, and other consultants
Supporting junior engineers and maintaining technical quality
Ideal Candidate
Background in mechanical, electrical, or multi-disciplinary building services design
Experience working within a UK consultancy or contractor-led design environment
Proficiency in building services design tools and BIM workflows
Working towards or holding IEng/CEng (CIBSE or IMechE)
Strong communicator with a collaborative, proactive approach
