📢 Senior Sales Manager - Maritime Satcom Solutions | UK-based with Global Travel

My client, a global leader in satellite communications and IT-managed solutions, is looking to appoint a Senior Sales Manager to drive international growth across key commercial maritime markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven sales leader with deep sector knowledge and a strong track record of commercial success.

🌍 Location: UK-based with international travel (2 days/week office presence required)
📁 Sector: Satellite Communications, Commercial Maritime
💼 Type: Full-Time, Permanent
📈 Direct Reports: Two


🔧 What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the charge on new business generation across the UK, USA, and selected global markets.

  • Promote a broad portfolio of satellite communication hardware, airtime services, and smart technology plans.

  • Manage and develop a small international sales team while collaborating closely with technical and service departments.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key maritime and offshore clients at all levels.

  • Provide commercial leadership on sales strategies, proposals, and customer engagement.

  • Feed client insights back into product and service development to ensure long-term competitive edge.

  • Represent the company at global exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.


✅ You Will Need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience managing sales teams in a technical or communications-focused industry.

  • A deep understanding of maritime NAVCOM systems and experience selling into the commercial marine, sector.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills - capable of influencing at both engineering and executive level.

  • High level of commercial awareness and an analytical mindset.

  • Eligibility to obtain UK SC-level security clearance.

  • Flexible attitude to working hours and frequent international travel.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office/365 and CRM systems.
