The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Build & Deliver - Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions using TypeScript, AWS, GraphQL, and more.
- Take Ownership - Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure with responsibility for the systems you build.
- Innovate - Help integrate AI and automation into the product suite to tackle problems in smarter ways.
- Collaborate - Contribute to code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions within a talented team.
- Engineer with Quality - Apply TDD practices, ensuring robust automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Keep Systems Running Smoothly - Ensure applications are secure, scalable, observable, and performant in production (tools include DataDog).
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Significant experience as a Senior Software Engineer (or equivalent).
- Strong full-stack expertise across JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, and AWS (EKS, Lambda, RDS).
- A proven track record in building resilient APIs and managing backend services/databases.
- Experience with TDD and testing frameworks such as Jest and Pact.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitHub Actions).
- Hands-on experience with observability/monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog).
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
