Our client, a leading player in their sector, is seeking a Technical Solutions Architect to join their dynamic team. With a strong focus on crafting customer experiences for prestigious brands across various sectors, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that drive business impact.
Purpose of the job:
You'll lead the charge in designing and delivering innovative solutions for major clients. This role is hands-on and client-facing, where you'll shape technical strategy, develop new integrations, and drive innovation alongside industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement & Solution Design: Collaborate closely with clients to understand business needs, define architectural solutions, and offer technical guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Pre-Sales & Technical Consultation: Support the sales process by advising on solution feasibility, designing technical approaches, and contributing to RFPs and proposals.
- Proof-of-Concepts & Prototyping: Develop POCs and prototypes to validate technical approaches, ensuring scalable and secure solutions aligned with best practices.
- Hands-On Engineering & Integration: Build and deploy custom integrations, APIs, and technical solutions, ensuring seamless interoperability across platforms and services.
- Technical Leadership & Best Practices: Uphold software architecture standards, optimize performance, and collaborate closely with the central Software Engineering team.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams, business leaders, and clients, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- E-Commerce Specialisation: Provide deep expertise in e-commerce platforms, integrations, and modern payment solutions to optimize client solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Tech Stack: Typescript (Node.js and React), AWS, Kubernetes, DataDog, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo, Kafka.
- Strong background in software engineering, cloud architectures, and API design, with experience in building scalable systems.
- Leadership experience in software engineering teams or initiatives with client collaboration.
- Ability to work closely with clients to define technical solutions and support the sales cycle.
- Proficiency in writing production-grade code, developing integrations, and tackling complex technical challenges.
- Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), e-commerce platforms, payments, order management, and customer experience optimization.
- Proven track record in quickly building proof-of-concepts to demonstrate technical feasibility and client value.
