My Client are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Analyst to join a dedicated technology team delivering high-quality solutions that improve engagement with customers and enhance user experiences across a diverse range of systems and platforms.
About the Role:
As a Test Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the testing and quality assurance function across a variety of organisational systems. Working closely with the Test Manager and other stakeholders, you will contribute to the delivery of end-to-end testing processes, ensuring robust, high-quality results that align with project goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, create, and execute test scripts based on system and user requirements across all testing phases, from post-unit testing to user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure compliance with internal testing and quality assurance strategies.
- Accurately translate acceptance criteria into technical and functional test scripts, including integration scenarios.
- Perform defect management, tracking, and reporting using dashboards and relevant tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to prioritise test efforts and coordinate defect resolution.
- Support and guide business teams through effective UAT planning and execution.
- Ensure all entry and exit criteria for test phases are met.
- Work with relevant teams to carry out non-functional testing in line with project test plans.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience in delivering and participating in the testing of complex programmes and projects.
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement and managing relationships across internal and external teams.
- Demonstrated success in a Test Analyst role across multiple projects.
- Experience with manual and automated test script development and execution.
- Track record of producing high-quality work under tight deadlines and budgets.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of test planning, execution, and the full defect lifecycle.
- Proficiency in tools such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Test Manager, ALM, and Jira.
- Experience working within Agile (SCRUM) delivery environments.
