What started as an ambitious endeavour quickly transformed into a truly awe-inspiring journey of support, determination, and generosity. We are delighted to announce that, thanks to the overwhelming support from all of you, we have surpassed our fundraising target and raised over £4,000!

A Cause Worth Fighting For: Men's Mental Health

At Tank Recruitment, we are immensely proud to support Man Down, who do incredible to support men who are struggling with their mental health, particularly those who may not feel comfortable seeking help through traditional channels. Men's mental health is an issue that remains shrouded in silence, and the consequences are devastating. Far too many lives are lost to suicide each year.

As a company, we firmly believe in the significance of promoting mental health awareness and well-being, both within our workplace and beyond. We understand the value of supporting our team members and the wider community during times of need. Together, we can create a meaningful impact and provide assistance to those who are struggling with their mental health.

Breaking Barriers and Setting New Targets

From the outset, the response to our cause was extraordinary. Even before commencing our 50-mile hike along the stunning Cornish Coast paths and cliffs, we had already achieved our initial goal of £2,000. This outpouring of support encouraged us to aim higher, leading us to set a new target of £3,000. However, little did we know that the morning of the hike would bring us yet another reason to celebrate. We surpassed our second target of £3,000!

Personal Reflections: Pushing Limits for a Great Cause

Throughout this journey, our team members experienced a range of emotions and physical challenges. They pushed their mental and physical limits, demonstrating unwavering commitment to the cause.

The sense of accomplishment, despite the exhaustion and physical strain, was huge and we’re incredibly proud of the team for their efforts.

The Power of Community and Collaboration

This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the remarkable support of our community. The outpouring of donations, both large and small, exceeded our expectations and allowed us to double our initial target.
