FM Engineer - Southwest Region
£28,000 - £35,000 DOE | Field-Based Role | Van & Tools Provided | Ongoing Work
We are looking for a reliable and practical FM Engineer to join our Facilities Management team, working across the South West region on a mobile, field-based contract.
This is a varied hands-on role covering reactive maintenance and planned preventative tasks across multiple commercial sites.
The Role
You will be responsible for attending commercial sites and carrying out general facilities maintenance works, including both reactive repairs and planned maintenance tasks.
Typical work includes:
- Basic plumbing repairs (leaks, taps, toilets, blockages)
- Drainage and waste issues
- Minor heating and hot water faults (within competency)
- Water hygiene checks and routine inspections
- General maintenance and small repairs across sites
- Basic building fabric tasks (doors, fittings, seals etc.)
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in FM, maintenance or building services
- Good all-round practical/handyman ability
- Basic plumbing knowledge is essential
- Understanding of safe working practices (RAMS awareness)
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to learn and develop

- £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
