Industrial Plumber

The Role

We are looking for two experienced Plumbers / Pipefitters to support a site-based project at Hinkley Point, running from November through to the end of March.
The successful contractors will be involved in plumbing and pipework installation, primarily working around boilers and heating cylinders. The role will involve both first and second fix plumbing, alongside associated pipework and drainage installation.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  First and second fix plumbing installations.
• 
  Installation and connection of boilers and heating cylinders.
• 
  Working with MDPE pipework and 110mm drainage systems.
• 
  Installation of 40mm and 50mm pipework.
• 
  General plumbing and pipefitting duties across site.
• 
  Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required standards.

Essential Requirements

• 
  Proven experience as a Plumber or Pipefitter.
• 
  Experience with first and second fix plumbing.
• 
  Competent working with MDPE, drainage and associated pipework.
• 
  Valid CSCS card.
• 
  IPAF 3A and 3B qualifications.
• 
  Previous experience working at Hinkley Point would be highly advantageous.

Desirable:

• 
  Experience with pipe lagging and insulation.
• 
  Previous Hinkley Point site experience with active site access.
