Job Title: Logistics Manager / Onsite Supply Chain Manager

Overview:
Tank Recruitment is seeking a highly capable Logistics Manager / Onsite Supply Chain Manager on behalf of our client to support the smooth continuation of two major renewable energy projects in Teesside. This role will be critical in managing the handover of materials between outgoing and incoming contractors and ensuring all supply chain activities align with construction schedules and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete onsite supply chain for contractor-supplied materials.
- Ensure all previously purchased materials are correctly transferred, documented, and received.
- Attend weekly coordination meetings with procurement and logistics teams.
- Supervise the onsite unloading and reception of materials, ensuring quality and quantity compliance.
- Align all deliveries-including modules and inverters-with the construction schedule to avoid delays.
- Act as the key link between all parties involved, ensuring smooth coordination and avoiding duplication of efforts and costs.
- Proactively manage logistics challenges to support timely project delivery.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in logistics or supply chain management within construction, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Technical background in engineering, construction, or a related field.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment.
- Knowledge of procurement procedures and site logistics best practices.
Desirable:
- Background in renewable energy or utility-scale infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with EPC project environments.
- Experience in managing contractor transitions and material handovers.
