Marine Service Engineer
Location: Surrey and Portsmouth

Overview:
An industry-leading communications and IT solutions provider is seeking an experienced Marine Service Engineer to join its dynamic and supportive engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of vessels-from commercial tankers to luxury yachts-installing and maintaining advanced communications and navigation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out VDR Annual Performance Tests and radio surveys
Installing, servicing, and repairing GMDSS equipment
Installing and maintaining navigational and radar systems
Commissioning and supporting VSAT broadband systems (Ka, Ku, C, L Band)
Participating in full bridge refit projects and large-scale equipment integrations
Occasional international travel and offshore work required

Key Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a marine service engineer role
HNC/ONC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or IT
Strong working knowledge of marine electronics and electrical systems
Valid UK driving licence and passport
Ability to pass marine/offshore medical examination
GMDSS Maintainer or Operator licence (preferred but not essential)
