Are you a technical operations leader with a defence or MOD background? Our client, a key provider of secure communications for UK Government programmes, is looking for a Technical Service Manager to support the high-impact CSCS4 initiative.
In this role, you'll manage support cases, coordinate field service operations, and liaise directly with MOD stakeholders, ensuring service delivery that supports mission-critical defence operations.
🔧 What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee and resolve UK Government support cases across CSCS programmes
Collaborate with MOD teams and internal engineers on complex technical IT, Networks and Communications issues
Contribute to onboarding, process improvement, and service delivery excellence
Coordinate field services and spares provision across global sites
Analyse support trends and implement fixes that enhance availability and performance
✅ What We're Looking For:
Strong background in MOD or Royal Navy technical operations (e.g. COMSAT, MILSAT)
Solid knowledge of satellite communications, IT networks, and fault resolution
Excellent stakeholder communication skills - able to bridge technical and operational teams
Flexible, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
Must hold or be eligible for DV (Developed Vetting) clearance
Nice to Have:
ITIL knowledge
Experience with secure government ticketing or monitoring systems
Technical documentation or training development experience
