Controls Engineer
Location: Manchester / Greater Manchester
Contract: Ad Hoc / Zero-Hours

We are currently looking for a Controls Engineer to join an established engineering business on a flexible, ad hoc basis.
Key Responsibilities
PLC programming, modification and fault finding
Working with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley control systems
Commissioning and troubleshooting machinery
Supporting machine repairs and modifications
Diagnosing electrical and controls-related faults
Working on customer sites across the Manchester area and occasionally further afield
Supporting bespoke and special-purpose machinery projects
Requirements
Previous experience as a Controls / Automation Engineer
Strong Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley experience
Comfortable with commissioning and fault finding
Experience working with industrial machinery
Able to work independently on customer sites
Flexible availability for short-notice, ad hoc assignments
This is a zero-hours contract, offering flexibility for engineers who want to take on additional project work without a fixed weekly commitment. Work could range from short-term troubleshooting and repairs through to larger commissioning assignments.
