Tendering Engineer - 132kV / Renewables & BESS
Contract | 6 Months | Fully Remote
We are looking for an experienced Tendering Engineer with a strong understanding of the UK electrical infrastructure and renewables sector to support a busy project pipeline on an initial 6-month contract. The successful candidate will have experience preparing and reviewing tender documentation for projects up to 132kV, with a good understanding of renewable energy, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and grid connections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review and coordinate technical tender submissions and associated documentation.
- Interpret DNO connection offers and understand the requirements for 132kV projects.
- Review and work with DNO Engineering Requirements, particularly G81 standards.
- Understand Employer's Requirements (ERs), Design Outline Requirements (DORs) and associated technical specifications.
- Compile and review tender packs, ensuring all technical and project requirements are captured.
- Support tendering activities across renewable energy, BESS and energy storage projects.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in an electrical infrastructure or power sector tendering role.
- Strong understanding of 132kV projects and UK DNO requirements.
- Knowledge of G81 standards and DNO connection offers.
- Familiarity with Employer's Requirements, DORs and technical tender documentation.
- Understanding of renewables, BESS and energy storage projects.
Contract Details:
Initial 6-month contract.
Fully remote working.
