Tank Recruitment have been engaged to recruit an Electrical Supervisor for one of our clients on a project in Exeter.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation activities on a 132kV ICP delivery project based in Exeter. This is a purely electrical scope with no civils involvement. You will be responsible for supervising site operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, to the required quality standards, and in line with the project programme.
Essential Requirements
- Recognised Electrical Qualification
- City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) or equivalent
- SSSTS
- CSCS Card
- Proven experience supervising electrical works on construction or infrastructure projects
- Experience within HV/LV, ICP, utilities, renewables, or energy infrastructure projects highly desirable
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day electrical installation activities on site
- Coordinate and oversee electrical subcontractors and site operatives
- Ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications
- Conduct site inspections and safety briefings
- Support the preparation and implementation of method statements and risk assessments
- Monitor progress against programme and report updates to project management
- Maintain site records, quality documentation, and inspection reports
- Liaise with the client, DNO, ICP teams, and other stakeholders as required
- Promote a positive safety culture across the project
